The Wedding Planner Main Cast:
Director: Adam Shankman Rating: 1 Star - not worth the time. Plot
Summary: Mary (Jennifer Lopez) is a Wedding Planner who organises every
minute detail for her clients’ big day. With
cool competence and confidence she organises the wedding day like a military
operation so that every little thing runs like clockwork.
She may have the most romantic job in the world but her own life is sadly
lacking in the romance department in spite of her father’s efforts to
“fix-her-up”. Then she meets
Steve (Matthew McConaughey) who she falls for straight away but Steve turns out to be the fiancé of
Mary’s next client… Review:
This comedy just doesn’t work. It
isn’t particularly funny, the story is silly and the script is unoriginal.
Because the whole thing is uneventful and predictable it is hard to care
what happens to the characters. There
is no sparkle between Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey and because of the
lack of humour and originality many of their scenes together will just make you
cringe. The best of actors and actresses could not save this movie and the cast were let down by a silly, unfunny story. Reviewed
