Failure To Launch (2006) - Romantic Comedy ...Mathew McConaughey plays Tripp, who at the age of 35 still lives with his parents.  Like his friends, Ace and Demo, Tripp has no intentions of changing his comfortable, carefree lifestyle.  His parents have other ideas as they want the house back to themselves...

House of Wax (2005) - Horror, ...how much longer are we going to be subjected to these ridiculous remakes of classic films?  I am so glad I never made it to the cinema to see this, the DVD watch was painful enough, and so far removed from the original classic starring Vincent Price it's an insult...

Jeepers Creepers 2 (2006), Horror, ...inspite of the increasing body count the movie is devoid of any real suspense or tension as two colleague students, Darry (Justin Long) and his sister Trish (Gina Philips), try to stay alive...

Lady in the Water (2006) Fantasy/Mystery, ...now I'm not adverse to suspending disbelief and entering magical worlds but Lady in the Water is so badly done with a script that is so laugh out loud - for all the wrong reasons...

Rumour Has It (2006)  Comedy/Drama, ...Sarah Huttinger (Jennifer Aniston) has just got engaged to boyfriend Jeff (Mark Ruffalo) but she isn't feeling as happy as she should be.  She gets even more confused when she returns home to Pasadena for her sister's wedding, and stumbles across the family secret.

Stay Alive (2006), Horror, ...this one should be renamed Stay Awake!  We see a group of teens come to terms with the loss of their friend who dies mysteriously whilst playing a new video game called Stay Alive...

The Grudge 2 (2006), Horror - this one is the second in the series of remakes of the the critically acclaimed Japanese Grudge films and is a total let down compared to the first film.  It's chaotic, predictable...

The Wedding Date (2005), Comedy/Romance, ...having been invited to her sister's wedding, Kat Ellis (Debra Messing) learns that her former fiancé is the best-man. It's bad enough that her younger sister is getting married before her but her ex-boyfriend Jeffrey (Jeremy Sheffield) will be there, and she doesn't have anyone to bring...

The Wicker Man (2006),  Thriller, ...When someone decides to take a seminal British film of the early seventies and give it the Hollywood treatment your heart kind of sinks, but nothing could have prepared me for the remake of The Wicker Man!

Torque (2004),  Action, ...This is music video director Joseph Kahn's first feature film and it sounds and views like a very long music video.  With roaring motorbikes, music thumping, stunts, action set pieces and camera tricks it would make a great 8 minute music video but as a full length feature film it becomes very tiresome...
