Plot Summary: Once upon a time there were three little girls... Most of you will remember or at least will have heard of the T.V. series of the same name. Three girls working as Private Investigators for the mysterious Charlie and none of them have seen him. They have only heard his voice over the intercom as he gives them the details of their next case.  In the film the Angels; Natalie, Alex and Dylan are summonsed by Charlie for their latest assignment. Eric Knox (Sam Rockwell) a computer genius has been apparently kidnapped by his rival Roger Corwin (Tim Curry). The secrets of Eric's recently developed "voice recognition" software are priceless.

Just like the T.V. series the Angels masquerade in different roles in order to track down the baddies. First they are disguised as Japanese masseurs and then racing car drivers. With ridiculous ease, as it was in the T.V. series, the Angels are soon on the trail of the baddies...

Review: This film is not meant to be taken seriously.  It is more a comedy than it is action. The film pokes fun at the original series and itself. If you are not familiar with the T.V. series some of the jokes will be lost on you. Then again some of the jokes were totally lost as some were simply corny. The action scenes are mostly done in slow motion and to be honest they don't come close to the stunts in other action movies. The movie, especially the start, is very segmented and it views as a number of sketches "stuck" together. This might be explained by the fact that there were several different writers working on the film.

Mirror mirror on the wall who's the fairest (Angel) of them all? Natalie (Cameron Diaz) gets my vote! She also has the funniest parts. She really can play the blond airhead so well. One great scene is when she gets to dance on stage in the Soul Train and starts doing her 80's dance moves, much to the horror of the trendy crowd! Lucy Liu also has some funny lines but overall she is playing her character (Ling) from the Ally McBeal T.V. series. Drew Barrymore lost out and didn't get a look in on the best parts. Much to my disappointment the talents of Bill Murray, who can be hilarious, where under-used.

No real plot or story but still "Worth a Watch" as a lightweight comedy/action, especially if you are a fan of the T.V. series.
